A 5 week drop in series exploring the symbols in the story of Tam Lin…

To be a 𝖗𝖔𝖔𝖙𝖋𝖎𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖗 is to crawl with palms in the undergrowth, gazing beyond the dancing canopy, and listening to the voices behind the sounds.

𝕽𝖔𝖔𝖙𝖋𝖎𝖓𝖉𝖎𝖓𝖌 is working our way through a story to find the marking points that ground it in our lives and in our worlds. These points (or roots) are symbols, moments, choices, encounters, characters, that each resound deeper than the words that are spoken or read. These roots reach within us, running along and into the lines of our own stories. They help us to locate ourselves in this world through the magic of fable and symbol.

In this series, we will be wandering through the story of 𝕿𝖆𝖒𝕷𝖎𝖓. An old one; wiry, bracken backed, water born. A story of ownership, sacrifice and surrender. A captured man, an enchantress, and a woman with a golden seam.

Each session will explore a different root in the story… including… The Thorned Rose, The Subtle Child, The Binding…

Sweet words

  • The work shops I attended were artfully crafted and so thoughtful to cater to all needs and to challenge all capabilities! It was an incredible experience!

  • I discovered my enjoyment of sharing things with people, even something quite vulnerable and personal. It felt very judgement free.

    Niamh, ‘Wintering’ participant

  • Warm, friendly and undertaken with care and love. Ruby guided us on a journey…culminating in making use of our wears in a communal food feast. A celebration of all things that are good.
